08 businessconnect was established by the Liverpool Culture Company and Business Liverpool to be the central hub for businesses who want to capitalise on Liverpool’s prestigious title of European Capital of Culture 2008.
The Requirements
The purpose of the website is to showcase continually updated information about news and events in and around Liverpool and Merseyside in the run up to the year of culture 2008 and engage local businesses to play their part.
Mando Group has worked extensively with Business Liverpool and The Culture Company team to produce an interactive website which provides features to grow a real on and off line business community.
The Solution
Mando Group created an information led site with a sophisticated user registration facility allowing users to access up to date information about events, tenders and news. The forums are well used and are helping further promote the on-line business community. Based on the Mando Group .net Content Management Platform the site is easily updated by in house staff.
