A pioneer in the console games market, Capcom’s portfolio includes such favourites as Onimusha, Street Fighter and Megaman. Now considered one of Europe’s most successful publishers, Capcom dominates the horror genre market with its hugely popular Resident Evil series. Having worked with Capcom since 2000, Mando Group has just launched its new consumer website.

The Requirements

Capcom’s original objective was to promote its brand to a European market, increase awareness of its games portfolio and push the launch of new titles to all European gamers. For the new website, Capcom wanted to create a site that worked harder for the company and with the flexibility to highlight games, news features and polls.

The Solution

We developed a new interactive site with a flexible multi-language content management system to provide Capcom with the tools to keep the website in line with changes within the business. The result:

  • Successful registration system with over 90,000 on-line members
  • Enormously popular site earning more then seven million hits a month
  • Platform to showcase each game release with its own mini site
  • Series of mini sites to promote individual titles.
