Mando Group

Analyse it, create it

We are delighted with the new festival site. We feel it gives users direct information and provides them with an easy to search diary. From commissioning to launch Mando Group developed this site in an incredibly short space of time and we are delighted with the results.

Lewis Biggs, Chief Executive of Liverpool Biennial

Mando Group were commissioned to design and build the Biennial Festival 2006 events website and at the same time redevelop the back end of the existing Corporate website to give the admin team more flexibility.

The festival website was set up to showcase different aspects of the work that Biennial does, focussing on the artists participating in the Biennial with details of when and where they would be exhibiting and performing. The homepage features a search facility enabling people planning a visit to the city to enter start and end dates of their trip and then see a list of all the Biennial events  happening during their visit.

The website also provided a platform for the press and artists to register and view a bespoke gallery housing more information on artists and their work with high quality images available to download.

The look and feel of the festival website needed to embrace branding work
that was showcased throughout the city on posters and banners, yet at the same time be easy to navigate and accessible.

Mando Group have also re-developed the Biennial Corporate website to give the Biennial marketing team the option of not updating the news area, as well as the ability add new pages and edit existing content.  Whilst the website looks the same as it did previously, the functionality is far more advanced and gives the team at Biennial a greater degree of website control then they had previously.
