Grand Re-opening of St George's Hall

One of Liverpool's most celebrated buildings re-opened yesterday after a multi-million pound refurbishment in good time for the 2008 Capital of Culture celebrations. You can read about the immediate festivities surrounding the new launch at the Liverpool 08 site.
I am happy to say I was there, although not as one of HRH Prince Charles' guests but as part of the Sense of Sound choir who performed the Song 'Gabriel' to an audience of dignitaries. It was great to be part of the historic occasion even if i didn't since HRH himself - he was sat directly behind our conductor and I didn't dare take my eyes off her on this, my first gig!
