
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who will form part of the Business Development and Consultancy team. The successful candidate will be tasked with attracting new customers and assisting with the retention and expansion of our existing key accounts.
The successful candidate will have 5 years+ business development experience within a digital agency, system integration or consultancy environment.
You will come from a consultative background and will have in-depth knowledge of User Experience-led web development, CMS and integration projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee, alongside Mando Group’s Chief Executive, the agency’s lead generation process – landscaping markets, managing the lead pipeline and securing opportunities to convert prospects
- Understand prospects’ requirements and to be able to produce quotes/pitches that reflect their needs
- Secure wins that match Mando Group’s skills set – delivering business critical web sites and online applications for international clients
- Management of large and complex bid teams
- Management of our relationship with Microsoft
- Strong ability to interact and negotiate with senior-level executives
- Carefully manage handover of projects into the production process and work closely with the project manager to ensure smooth delivery of work
- Represent the company at networking events
- To achieve a personal sales target each year
Skills and Experience required:
- At least 5 years business development experience within a digital agency, system integration or consultancy environment
- Experience of pitching to senior management teams at board level
- Excellent blend of creative and technical knowledge – the ability to see the bigger picture
- The ability to write clear and concise pitch documents demonstrating excellent business understanding
- Good communications skills and the ability to inspire others
- High level competence within MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and other Office software
Essential skills / experience:
- Track record of landscaping sectors, identifying and generating leads, managing the pipeline, and converting prospects into key accounts
- Experience or understanding of Microsoft Partner structure
- Strong ability to interact and negotiate with senior-level executives
- Strong proposal writing experience
