Hill Dickinson LLP is one of the North West’s leading law firms with offices in Liverpool, Chester, Manchester and London. The firm has 125 partners and over 800 staff and in 2005, was named UK’s Regional Law Firm of the Year 2005-06 at the annual Legal Business Awards.

They required a professional looking, interesting, accessible and contemporary website that could be regularly updated by the in house marketing team.

Pippa Miln, Head of Marketing said “We are very pleased with our new site. The site is now more advanced and is indicative of our values as a firm and our brand. The new technology behind the Content Management System allows us to keep the site up to date internally and refresh content and images regularly providing us with the flexibility to manage the site on a day to day basis”.

The website, www.hilldickinson.com, has a clean, sophisticated look and feel, with clear navigation and reinforces Hill Dickinson’s corporate identity. The .net technology Content Management System allows Hill Dickinson staff to update not only page content but also the navigation allowing for whole new sections of the website to be added enabling the company to manage many future website requirements.


TMP LogoEmail Marketing for The Mersey Partnership

Mando Group were recently commissioned to create and manage the email strategy for The Mersey Partnership Short Breaks and Travel Trade campaigns.

The Short Breaks emails have been designed to highlight specific forthcoming events and what a fantastic city Liverpool is for a weekend break, prompting recipients to enter a competition to win a weekend break to the city for themselves and up to 3 friends. The newsletter has been designed specifically to increase the Short Breaks mail list and to drive traffic back to the Visit Liverpool website where potential visitors can plan their weekend break itinerary.

In conjunction with targeting individual city visitors, the Travel Trade email campaign has been designed to show how easy it is to arrange group bookings to the city. The newsletter promotes the Merseyside hotel trade, highlights practicalities such as facilities for coach parties and directs travel agencies towards the Travel Trade website.

Falconer Chester is an award winning Architects practice in Liverpool whose high profile work includes Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral and the Liverpool Marriott hotels.

Falconer Chester required a website which would provide information on their company and services whilst showcasing the work they have completed.

Mando Group have recently redeveloped their website, www.falconerchester.co.uk, which makes great use of strong imagery from their portfolio and works inline with their current brand.

The portfolio of work has detailed information on the projects with several images and allows Falconer Chester staff to add new projects and images as required using Mando Groups Control-C content management system.


Directors CutDirectors Cut wins a Bravo Award

Mando Group and FACT are celebrating the win of a Bravo Award for their Directors Cut series of events.

The Bravo Awards are designed to recognise the best partnerships and provide a region wide platform to promote the mutual benefits of business support for the arts.

FACT and Mando Group created Directors’ Cut, an exclusive film club for business leaders, to develop both companies’ business contacts and image in the community. Business leaders choose a film they find inspirational which illuminates a presentation revealing their own experience and view on leadership. The partnership uses art to understand business issues.

Some of the key speakers have included Paul Heathcote, Steve Purdham of Surfcontrol, James Timpson of Timpson and Robyn Archer Artistic Director for Liverpool, European Capital of Culture, 2008.

The Directors Cut series continues in 2006 with support from
08 businessconnect. The latest Directors Cut event was on 15th May with Neil Pakey, CEO Peel Airports, as a guest speaker with his chosen film 12 Angry Men.

Mando Group client Manchester Metropolitan University have been awarded a Heist Award for their site www.mmu.ac.uk/international under the Best Website category.

The annual Heist Awards recognise excellence in further and higher education marketing.

Mike Deyes, Internet Manager at MMU said "This is a great result for MMU and Mando Group. The site is certainly a leader in its sector and we are delighted with the ideas and results generated from working together on the project."
