six billion others...

6billionothers.org is an ambitious project aiming to create a sensitive and human portrait of the planet's inhabitants by revealing each person's universality and individuality.

Six different directors are currently globe-trotting to interview about 6,000 people from 65 different countries. Questions chosen deal with topics such as; experiences, what makes us laugh or cry, family, what gives life meaning, etc. These films are then uploaded as testimonials - there are a number there (see above) so you can get the gist.

It's sort of like Google Earth but with people/humanity displayed in a u-tube format. In 2008 the site will be opened up for anyone to add user generated content to create a true global community.

I was asked today to contribute to our blog by Matt, our chairman and instantly got creative block! When put on the spot it's often difficult to come up with an idea out-of-the-blue. Yet that's my job, it's what I have to do day-in-day-out so how do I over come it?

One way is probably what i consider the best creative tool, no its not Photoshop its Google.

Try putting in a random term or phrase, i have used the number 37:
