We were proud to attend the Optimizely Partner Close-Up in Stockholm this month, where Mando Group was recognised with the ‘All In With Optimizely’ award.

It marks a significant milestone in our long-standing partnership with Optimizely - and a moment of recognition for the work we’ve done to align our strategy, capabilities, and services around a platform we believe in.

A Statement of Commitment

The award reflects the decision we made last year to go beyond preferred-partner status and fully commit to the Optimizely ecosystem.

As Optimizely’s Chief of Worldwide Partner Ecosystem, Jessica Dannemann, shared at the event:

This award celebrates a partner who hasn’t just embraced Optimizely – they’ve gone all in... You made the strategic decision to fully commit to Optimizely. That kind of dedication takes vision, confidence, and a strong belief in our shared future.”

That alignment has led enhanced delivery models and a shared focus on helping organisations get more value from digital experimentation, content, and commerce.

Key Developments From the Close-Up

The event also provided a clear look at where Optimizely is heading - and what that means for clients. A few highlights:

Optimizely’s new AI platform, Opal, is designed to improve how digital teams work, rather than replace them. Built into Optimizely One, it offers:

  • Context-aware content and variation generation using brand assets, previous campaigns, and customer data
  • Autonomous agents that can run tests, summarise performance, and make recommendations
  • Tools that streamline tasks like image analysis, campaign planning, and content performance reporting

This approach allows generalist teams to work more like specialists—with AI handling the admin and analysis in the background.

A Clear Roadmap for CMS

Optimizely shared updates on its CMS platforms, including:

  • CMS13 (coming early 2026): Features include visual editing, embedded DAM, AI agent support, improved personalisation, and streamlined forms - all designed to reduce time-to-value for clients
  • Ongoing CMS12 support through 2025, including updates to search, front-end hosting, and Opal Chat integration

Commerce Options to Suit Business Complexity

For clients with advanced B2B requirements, Optimizely showcased updates to Configured Commerce - a platform specifically built for manufacturers and distributors:

  • Fast deployment with out-of-the-box B2B features
  • Deep ERP integration
  • A composable, headless architecture that balances extensibility with ease of use

What This Means for Our Clients

This recognition from Optimizely reinforces the direction we’ve chosen - in terms of the technology we support and the kind of partnerships we want to build.

For our clients, it means:
  • A team that’s fully aligned with Optimizely’s roadmap
  • Strategic insight into upcoming features and capabilities
  • Faster, more efficient delivery of digital content, experimentation, and commerce solutions

We're grateful to the Optimizely team for the award and excited about what it enables us to deliver for the businesses we support.
